Manuia Support Services – Website
The Challenge
Manuia Support Services is a compassionate organization in Polk County dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Their mission centers on empowering each person they serve through personalized care, inclusion, and a deep respect for individual potential.
The challenge was to create a website that increased brand awareness while clearly communicating Manuia’s services in a way that felt welcoming and trustworthy. The solution focused on designing an accessible, easy-to-navigate site that reflected their values and helped families and individuals quickly find the information and support they need.
The Solution
The goal was to create an inviting and accessible website that truly reflects the heart of Manuia Support Services. We used vibrant, authentic photos of clients and staff to bring the community and mission to life, while incorporating Manuia’s branded colors to ensure visual consistency and strengthen brand recognition. We also added a dedicated social media page, giving visitors a window into Manuia’s ongoing activities and community connections.
Accessibility was a key focus: we prioritized strong color contrast, readable layouts, and integrated the Divi Accessibility Sidebar plugin to make the site easy to use for all visitors.
To help users find information quickly, we implemented a persistent primary navigation menu at the top of every page, keeping key links visible and navigation intuitive. Throughout the site, important information is presented clearly and consistently to ensure Manuia’s message is easily understood.
